we did it...

alright, John and I give in... after multiple requests, we have joined the ranks of fellow facebookers... It's quite confusing (for all of the 5 min. I've been on it...) so if any of you guys have any tips on navigating... please share! Also, I couldn't help but post this vidoe that I found on my friend (Amber's) blog...

That is hillarious and frighteningly on point! But hey I love facebook with all of it's imperfections and strange quarks! :o)

I believe I am now officially the last person on the planet (besides Chad) to be on Facebook.
I WON'T GIVE IN!...at least not today! :)

That video is awesome and exactly how I felt when I started with facebook. But I have been on for awhile now and I enjoy it. I enjoy reconnecting with old faces, some and some not so much. The only advice I have is play with it more.

Love it that you're on facebook! But, your blog is even better, but it's really missing a lot without having my blog in your link list. I feel so rejected! Thanks for the friend shout out, and I did enjoy your last post about dates with the kids. TOTALLY implementing that! I planned on doing it as something they earned with their "allowance" but now realize we should do it no matter what.

Shandy, I was a friend of Johns in Middle School in AK and just got back in touch with you guys through FB, so I'm glad you started doing that! I scrolled down your blog and you two hae such a beautiful family and I LOVE your photography. . . we'll have to hire you to take some photos of our kids the next time we're in ID. . . and our kids are similar ages, so they could run around together! It's so wonderful to me that my buddy John met you and has raised such a nice family in the church. . . I only had one LDS friend growing up in AK and now I can say, I have 2! Have a great weekend. . .I look forward to sitting down an "catching up" with the Vogts on your blog when I don't have to run out the door for VT!!

Okay that was totally funny!! I guess I better get on facebook and select the "Privacy/Stalker" setting so all of my comments aren't out there for the world to see!
